How Can You Stick to an EV Maintenance Schedule with Towne Hyundai?

EVs won't require as much attention from our service experts, avoiding the 30,000/60,000/90,000 model many gas-powered vehicles require. Electrified models don't cost as much to keep on the road, delivering a world-class experience every day you start up and hit the town!

At 30 days, you should:

  • Check your car's tire pressure and refill the air as needed.
  • Examine the tires for wear or damage.
  • Check windshield wiper fluid level and refill if necessary.

When you hit the 7,500-mile marker, you'll need to consider a few more maintenance items for your EV. These services may include:

  • Getting a tire rotation.
  • Inspect the battery's coolant level.
  • Check accessory power, charger modules, power inverter, and cabin heater. We can help you find these pieces if you aren't sure where they're located.
  • Check light bulbs and replace them if they're dim or unresponsive.
  • Inspect the gas struts for suspension wear and lubricate door locks.
  • Inspect your vehicle's steering, chassis, brakes, and suspension system for wear.

When you hit the 15,000-mile marker, you should get new windshield wipers. After 36,000 miles, you'll want to replace the cabin air filter. When 75,000 miles rolls around, we'll recommend service for your suspension gas struts and draining/servicing your coolant circuits.
