The Ioniq 5 can come with one of three electric powertrains and two drivetrains, each offering varying degrees of power and range. The base electric engine can pump out 168 horsepower and go up to 220 miles on one charge. The second option boosts the power to 225 horsepower, and the long-range battery can take you up to 266 miles with dual motors or 303 miles with a single motor. There is some flexibility with the powertrain options, including opting for either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive so you can weigh capability and range. The SEL and Limited trims will include the more capable engines and offer up to 2,300 pounds of towing capacity.
